Finally, I have decided to share my knowledge and spelling errors to the world. Who knows what I will be writting about at this time, its going to be pretty much a learning curve. But, since I have a broad range of intrests, I hope I can narrow it down to something or another. So, here my test post. Its not very intresting, but something or another will show up here about my views regarding stocks, linux, computer stuff, or just life in general. I'm just hoping that things do not get to wishy-washy or boring.
Anyways, on with the fun. Most of my postings are going to be from my old faithful linux box, a beast at 700 mhz and 384 megs of ram. It ran slackware for who knows how long, but now its running vector linux. Its very stable. It also acts sometimes as a Mythtv frontend. I will share my thoughts on Mythtv at a later date. Currently, the window manager is freerock-gnome, but since this system needs a bit more loving care, I think I will use xfce or fluxbox. Really haven't made much of a decision yet on that one.
